Groot Eiland fights poverty by supporting as many Brussels residents as possible who have difficulties in finding work in their search for employment. We do this by organising work experience, (free) training, adapted work and professional assistance. And all this in very different sectors: from carpentry to catering or even urban agriculture. Sustainability, social economy and a realistic business model go hand in hand in everything we do.

We expect our employees to respect their colleagues, customers and suppliers, regardless of their origin, gender, nationality, religious or philosophical beliefs, sexual orientation or even disability. We value personal development by encouraging everyone to develop their passion or talent and a sense of responsibility
